After 13 seasons in the NFL Patriot Legend Devin McCourty has decided to hang up his cleats for a final time on March 10, 2023. Devin played all 13 seasons of his career with the Patriots after being drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. During his tenure with the Patriots, he missed only 5 games. His achievements with the Patriots didn’t go unnoticed, receiving second place in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting behind Ndamukong Suh, three All-Pro Team selections, two Pro Bowl selections, and helping win 3 Super Bowls.  McCourty also holds the record for most postseason starts as a defensive player with the Patriots.

His leadership on and off the field was instantly felt, being voted team captain in just his second season. Devin serves on the Board of Trustees for the Boston Medical Center. He and his brother delivered the 2019 Commencement speech at their Alma Mater Rutgers University. The McCourty Twins are the epitome of “The Patriot Way.” We thank him for his continued commitment to the Patriots Organization, the City of Boston, and the Region of New England. To steal from another all-time patriot great Julian Edelman, “Foxboro Forever.”
