Ladies and Gentlemen: The UFL

The merger between the XFL and the USFL has officially been made final. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, The United Football League. The UFL will play its inaugural game on Saturday, March 30, 2024. The game will feature a match up between the 2023 XFL Champion Arlington Renegades, and the 2023 USFL Champion Birmingham Stallions.

Five former XFL teams; Arlington Renegades, DC Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, San Antonio Brahmas, and the St. Louis BattleHawks will merge with 3 former USFL teams; Birmingham Stallions, Memphis Showboats, and the Michigan Panthers making the UFLs inaugural season consist of 8 teams. The players from the remaining teams contracts will be dissolved and they will participate in the “Player Dispersal Draft”.

“From day one, our mission has been to expand the game of football and be a league of opportunity, culture and innovation. As we come together to create the UFL, we can build something powerful, exciting and very cool for football fans – a spring league with lasting impact for all the players with a dream to play pro football and the ‘hardest workers in the room’ mentality to make their dreams come true.”

DWAYNE “THE rOCK” jOHNSON – XFL CO-OWNER

UFL games will be available on Fox, ESPN and FS1 for the 2024 Season. The majority of their games will be played in that sports lull when the MLB season is just gearing up and the NBA and NHL seasons are just winding down but the playoffs haven’t started yet. Mix that in with the opportunity for more sports betting and this sounds like it could be a solid investment for The Rock. A Rock solid investment if you will.

Regeneration Sports will disperse more information as we receive it.
